Project Description

Balcony Railing Restoration & Painting

30 Gloucester Street in Toronto is 22-storey multi-unit residential building. The floor slabs extend beyond the building envelope to form balcony slabs. Metal balcony railing system is provided at the outside edge of the balconies.

Project Scope

This project involved:

• Complete preparation and removal of rust and loose paint finishes from the surfaces of the metal balcony elements.
• Application of one coat of primer and two coats of exterior finish paint to all metal balcony elements.
• Replacement of perforated metal panels throughout the North and South elevations.
