Project Description

In Mid October 2006 Albatech Building Restoration Inc. started 2006 Exterior Wall Rehabilitation program.

The building located at 110 Bloor Street West in Toronto, is 21-storey high-rise residential building. Due to the poor existing condition of the concrete forming part of the north and south corners of exterior concrete end walls immediate repairs were required.

The project started with the installation of hoarding, site protection, and covered walkways.

This rehabilitation program involved:

• Removal of the existing wall coating;
• Localized repair of all concrete deterioration;
• Replacement of joint sealant between concrete wall and curtain wall;
• Application of new elastomeric wall coating on exposed concrete wall at corners on north and south elevations.
